Scott holds a life-long passion for design and construction and has more than 25 years of professional architectural experience. A Nova Scotia native, he studied in Halifax and practiced design there in various capacities as well as teaching opportunities at both Dalhousie University and Nova Scotia Community College. He moved to Ontario in 2009 and worked in architecture offices in Peterborough and Amherst, Massachusetts, until 2017 when he joined the Lett team.
Scott’s expertise lies in the development of construction details and translating design intentions to buildable solutions. At Lett Architects, he is responsible for managing the technical staff in developing solutions for projects as well as assisting the design team to ensure technical and design excellence.
Scott is committed to environmental and social justice issues. He is active in Peterborough’s cohousing incubator group and serves the Unitarian Fellowship of Peterborough in various capacities. He appreciates Ontario’s freshwater lakes and enjoys back country canoeing and rowing on the Otonabee River.
