Affordable Housing Development at 1505 Bowmanville Ave is getting closer to occupancy!

Across the country, there is a clear need for affordable housing solutions. At Lett, we believe that affordable housing needs to be designed for the human spirit and to cultivate community.

With this philosophy in mind, this project will include a variety of interior amenity spaces, such as a library, common laundry room, a large multi-purpose room with a full kitchen for community events and family dinners. The multi-purpose room leads to an outdoor patio and seating areas, with connections to vegetable/flower gardens for specific cultivation by the residents.

In addition, bicycle/scooter storage, dedicated tenant storage, and a dedicated pet washing station are all included.

Exterior site works continue this week, with asphalt paving, patio deck posting, retaining wall installation, finish grading and concrete sidewalk work; the outside of the building is really starting to come to life. The exterior façade is ready for the installation of Juliet balconies and the yellow-orange colour palette is looking absolutely spectacular.

On the interior the majority of suites on the 3rd and 4th floors are getting down to final touches, while work continues on the suites on floors 1 and 2 with flooring and millwork being installed. The basement level is a hive of activity with various trades working to fit out the amenity spaces and suites.
