The Georgian Triangle Humane Society is a not-for-profit, non-government funded organization that provides animal protection and welfare services in the South Georgian Bay region. When complete, the new 19,213 sq. ft. facility incorporates an animal shelter, companion animal hospital, and animal daycare all under one roof.
The core mandate of the Georgian Triangle Humane Society is to provide shelter and care for injured, abandoned, and abused animals. As such, the layout of the program within the building has been designed to meet the highest standards of animal care to ensure that all animals have been provided with a comfortable and healthy environment.
The site amenities include a walking path, outdoor learning area, outdoor multi-purpose area, potential stormwater management pond, and multiple large dog play yards, including one dedicated to the animal day care programs.
