Matthew joined the Lett Architects Studio in March 2013. He brings a unique personality to the team and a passion for technical design. He has a strong work ethic that shows a high level of learning and understanding for building science. He is a senior technologist with an extensive background in production and advanced drafting requirements and has developed strong skills in Building Information Modelling (BIM), building science, technical detailing, and drawing organization. Matthew is currently the Job Captain and Project Architect for multiple studio projects and leads the site analysis work for various commercial and institutional projects.
He has recently become a member of the International Living Future Institute. This institute has developed the Living Building Challenge certification program that promotes the measure of sustainability through the built environment. His goal is to help educate not only himself but the community on environmentally friendly living buildings.
He has an Architectural Technologist Advanced Diploma from Algonquin College, is a Licensed Technologist with the OAA, and most recently become the Chair of the Trent Society of Architects.
Outside the studio, he enjoys rock climbing, golf, and painting while listening to jazz.
