Bill Lett

Architect – Managing Principal


As managing principal, Bill has had extended hands on experience dealing with diverse User Groups, Administrators, Planning Approval processes, Municipal/Regional Councils and Government Agencies at Provincial and Federal Levels.

Bill joined the Studio in 1998 and was pivotal in growing the practice. In 2008 he became principal. Over the last decade Bill has been involved in the design of major cultural, institutional and healthcare projects across the province of Ontario. Bill has received many awards for his work including three Ontario Association of Architects Design Excellence Awards. His work has been featured in Architectural Review magazine from Britain as an example of current Canadian design.

Bill has sat on many Boards and is currently the Treasurer of the Trent Society of Architects. He is also a member of the Peterborough Official Plan Steering Committee and 100 Men of Peterborough. He holds memberships in the Canadian Green Building Council and the Integrated Project Delivery Alliance.

When Bill is not in the studio, you’ll find him on the hill either skiing or trail riding on his mountain bike.
