Ailan is a thoughtful and compassionate designer, focusing her attention on the high level of functionality in her designs. She has brought the Lett team a distinct level of discipline in her comprehension of the flow of space and client need.

After graduating from the University of Waterloo Master’s program in 2003, Ailan continues to develop her strong interest in sensible and sustainable design. She has worked and studied in such places as Toronto, Ottawa, Edmonton, New York, Rome, and Brisbane. Ailan joined the Lett team in the spring of 2008, and she has managed and designed the healthcare projects in the capacity of Project Architect. With nearly two decades of experience in healthcare and institutional design. Ailan easily manages the complexity of programming in such projects. Her experience extends from; Family Health Teams, through Community Health Centres, Hospitals, Long-Term Care Facilities, and Residential Care Facilities.

When not in the studio, she supports her children’s interest in sports and the arts. Occasionally finding time to spend on the piano or the soccer pitch.
