PORT HOPE COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTRE
Port Hope, Ontario
This 11,300 sq. ft. project has met the growing medical needs for the Municipality of Port Hope. Designed to provide clinical care, counselling and therapy, the facility features an 80-seat multi-purpose room with an associated training kitchen, nine examination rooms, a specimen collection laboratory, physiotherapy space, offices/consulting rooms for Dieticians/social workers, group counselling rooms and a dental suite.
The Board of the CHC is committed to healthy living through the creation of a healthy building and the design therefore is targeted to achieve LEED CI Gold certification. Innovative elements of the design involve the use of agri-fibre products for millwork, renewable resources, non off-gassing products, green guard specified furniture and many other environmental elements. As with most of our projects, Lett Architects has completed all of the interior design work and specified all of the furnishings.
